SERIALLY
Serially Book Studio

The novel you’ve always wanted to finish.

Your book. Your characters. Your ideas. Your way.

Serially Book Studio helps turn the story you’ve been carrying around into a complete novel — with the manuscript, cover and publication materials brought together in one substantial package.

Founding offer: £399

First 10 commissioned books

Maybe the book is already there.
It just isn’t finished.

Maybe you’ve had the characters in your head for years. Maybe you’ve written three chapters, stopped, and started again. Maybe you know exactly how it ends but have never worked out how to get there. Maybe you’ve built an entire world in notebooks. Or maybe life simply never leaves enough time to write 80,000 words.

You don’t need to hand us a perfect outline. Bring us what you have: the idea, characters, scenes, notes, worldbuilding, existing chapters or unfinished manuscript. We use that as the foundation and help you turn it into the novel you’ve always wanted to finish.

Your story stays your story.

You make the creative decisions. We are not selling a random story generated from a one-line prompt. Your characters, ideas, existing writing and intended direction are what the novel is built from — set out by you in the Book Brief, in as much detail as you want to give, including the things the book must contain and the things it must never do.

There is no approval cycle and no committee. You describe the book; we write it. That is why the Brief is the part worth your time.

And it is yours outright. Publish it, print it, sell it, adapt it — you keep every penny and every right. We take no royalty, no ongoing licence and no claim over your characters.

How it works

From what you have to a finished book

  1. 01

    Tell us about your book

A couple of minutes on the idea, the genre and where you have got to. Enough for us to say whether the project is a good fit.

  2. 02

    Give us everything you have

After checkout you complete the Book Brief: characters, world, plot, voice, the scenes already in your head, and any chapters or notes you have written. This is what the novel is built from, so the more you give us, the more it is yours.

  3. 03

    We produce the novel

Using ChapterStream under human direction, we develop the manuscript while managing story state, continuity, character progression, voice and structure across the book.

  4. 04

    We deliver the complete package

You receive the finished novel, the cover and the Publication Package containing the supporting publication and story materials.

Powered by ChapterStream

ChatGPT can help you write. ChapterStream is built to help manage a whole book.

You absolutely can use ChatGPT or another AI assistant to help write a novel yourself. But generating a good scene or chapter is not the same problem as managing a coherent 80,000–200,000-word book. Characters need consistent histories, motivations, knowledge and relationships. Setups need payoffs. Timelines need to make sense. Emotional arcs need to progress.

Voice needs to remain recognisable. Changes made halfway through the book may need consequences across dozens of later chapters. That is the problem ChapterStream was built to help manage — our AI-assisted long-form fiction production system, working across an entire book while the project stays under human creative direction. That technology is what makes a bespoke book-production service possible at a price traditional ghostwriting could not.

You could do all of this yourself. That is rather the point.

You could spend your time learning prompting, building story bibles, tracking continuity, managing context, revising the manuscript, designing the cover, researching categories, writing the blurb and assembling the publication materials. Or you can spend your time making the creative decisions about your book, while Serially manages the production process.

Keep the creative part. Let us handle the production.

You are not paying £399 for access to an AI model. You are paying for a managed route from unfinished idea or manuscript to a complete book package: story organisation, book-level production, continuity work, analysis, revision support, cover and publication materials.

Is this for me?

A good fit if…

  • You have a novel idea, characters, notes or an unfinished manuscript
  • You can describe what you want in detail up front, and would rather do that than manage the writing
  • You are comfortable with transparent AI-assisted production
  • You want help getting to a complete book

Probably not if…

  • You want guaranteed bestseller sales
  • You require a fully human-written ghostwriting service
  • You want to steer the book as it is written, or expect rewrites after delivery
  • You need professional copy-editing and proofreading inside the £399 package
  • Your project is non-fiction — memoir, business, self-help or academic
Questions

The detail

Is this a finished, published book?

The package gives you a complete first-draft novel plus extensive publication-support materials. Final professional copy-editing, proofreading, retailer account setup and actual publication or distribution are not included unless separately agreed.

Can I use writing I have already done?

Yes. Existing chapters, drafts, notes, character documents and worldbuilding can be uploaded and used as source material for the project.

How long will my novel be?

Typically 80,000–200,000 words. Genre, story structure and pacing determine the length — you commission a novel, not a word count.

Can I ask for 200,000 words?

No. The package commissions an appropriately structured novel rather than a maximum word quota. A book padded to hit a number is a worse book.

Do I get creative control?

Yes — it is exercised in the Book Brief. Your characters, world, plot, voice, must-haves and hard limits are what the novel is built from, and anything you mark as fixed stays fixed. There is no approval cycle afterwards, so the Brief is where the decisions are made and it is worth taking your time over.

Is AI used?

Yes. ChapterStream is an AI-assisted production system operated under human direction. It is used to help structure, draft, maintain continuity, analyse and revise the book.

Why not just use ChatGPT myself?

You can. This service is for people who would rather Serially managed the book-level production — the context, continuity, structure, analysis and packaging — while they make the creative decisions.

Are revisions included?

No. The package is a complete first-draft novel produced from your Book Brief, delivered once. Changes after delivery are quoted separately. This is why the Brief asks for as much as it does — it is the only place the story is steered.

What if the novel is not what I imagined?

The Brief is what the book is built from, so the closer it is to what you actually want — including the things to avoid and the hard limits — the closer the novel will be. If something has gone genuinely wrong rather than differently from how you pictured it, email and we will look at it.

Will you publish it for me?

The package supplies publication-support materials. Retailer publication and distribution are not included.

Who owns the book?

You do, completely. The finished novel is yours to publish, print, sell, adapt, enter for prizes, give away or leave in a drawer. You keep all royalties and we take no cut, no ongoing licence and no credit unless you want to give us one. Serially claims no rights over your characters, your world or the manuscript. The full position is set out in the service agreement, which you see before payment.

How long will it take?

We aim to deliver the book and all the other material to your inbox within two weeks of receiving your final brief. The clock starts when you lock the brief, not when you pay — so the sooner you finish it, the sooner you have the novel.

Finish the book you’ve been carrying around.
